The Global Health Section (GHS) at the Department of Public Health, University of Copenhagen invites applications for a part-time academic employee (master level student) for a fixed-term position starting from 1 May 2026 or soon thereafter.Your jobAs part of the tasks, the candidate is expected to support the team working on the large-scale capacity development and research project Partnership for Education of Health Professionals. The team consists of staff from Department of Public Health and the Centre for Online and Blended Learning (COBL). Read more on the project website here.We expect the candidate to mainly support activities related to educational and social science research and further to assist with administrative tasks, e.g. helping with practicalities related to project meetings, partner visits, or networking events.
ProfileWe are looking for an ambitious and highly dedicated academic employee with the following competencies and experience:Essential experience and skillsYou are currently enrolled in an MSc, MA or master’s programme relevant to education (e.g. Pedagogy, Educational Studies, IT & Learning) or have substantial academic experience from working with topics related to higher education, teaching, and learningYou have a collaborative mindset and at the same time feel comfortable working independentlyYou have fluency in written and spoken English, as well as excellent writing skillsDesirable experience and skillsExperienced in literature search and thematic analysisExperienced user of the reference management system ZoteroExperienced in supporting project coordinationExperienced in supporting project reportingExperienced in working with partners in low- and middle-income settingsPlace of employmentThe place of employment is at Department of Public Health, Global Health Section, University of Copenhagen. We offer creative and stimulating working conditions in a dynamic and international research environment.Terms of employmentOn average, you will work between 10 and 15 hours per week.
There is flexibility to arrange work around your study and exam calendar.The position is a fixed-term position ending no later than 31 December 2029.Employment will be in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement between the Danish Ministry of Taxation and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations). The monthly salary will be based on the number of years of work experience (seniority) with the possibility to negotiate a salary supplement based on prior experience and qualifications.
