Are you motivated by working at the intersection of procurement, data, and operations—and do you have a strong interest in how products move efficiently through a global supply chain?If so, you might be the Global Order Planner we are looking for at ABENA.At ABENA, we are looking for a Global Order Planner dedicated to our road transport team who takes a structured and analytical approach to planning and has a solid understanding of how to balance demand, supplier performance, inventory levels, and service requirements within road-based logistics.In this role, you will ensure an efficient flow of goods by planning and managing purchasing activities based on master data, demand patterns, and business needs. Balancing factors such as lead times, order quantities, pricing, and inventory levels. You will translate data and system parameters into everyday decisions, working with key planning principles such as reorder points, safety stock, and EOQ, while also improving data quality and planning accuracy.Your main responsibilities:Plan and place purchase orders to make sure products are available when neededFollow up with suppliers on deliveries, delays, and documentationKeep track of stock levels and help avoid both shortages and overstockHandle order confirmations, invoices, and transport documentsMaintain and update product and supplier data in the systemAnswer questions from colleagues about delivery times and availabilityWhat we hope you bringExperience with purchasing or planning, and an interest in how orders and stock fit togetherA structured approach to planning and keeping track of ordersGood at staying organized and meeting deadlinesAble to keep an overview when handling many tasks at onceComfortable making decisions based on available informationA team player who communicates clearly and works well with othersYour Team, Our Culture and ValuesWe have an informal work environment where we support each other, and even on busy days, there is room to have fun together.
